Perimeter Fence Alarm System
The biggest security concern for construction companies today is liab
ility for injuries to unauthorised persons on building sites. This is often the result of kids gaining access to a compound and using it as a play area after work has finished for the day. Conventional security measures used on temporary compounds are ineffective.
This system boasts climb-over and break protection and the intelligence systems capable of determining the difference between those instances and incidental occurrences such as animal incursion, high winds, impacts etc. All this with a false alarm activation rate of just 1%.
The system consists of two parts. The central control unit which is situated on site and the detection system which is attached to the fence itself. The detection system attaches to each panel and can be removed in 10 – 20 
seconds if fence re-configuration is required.
The entire system operates on a GSM network and provides the following features:
• Simple and quick to erect and restructure, approximately 20 seconds per panel.
• Battery powered with sufficient charge to run 21 days between charging.
• Additional battery packs available.
• Operates over GSM network with 99% UK coverage.
• System will time/date stamp ALL activities – detection, activation of secondary devices such as CCTV, Audible alarm, built-in Voice warning etc.
• Will dial up to 6 pre-programmed telephone numbers to report incidents.
• Will provide audible warning stating ‘building sites are dangerous please leave the area immediately’ upon detecting a climb-over or fence break. This will increase protection against liability for construction companies in relation to unauthorised persons injuring themselves on the property. This warning will also be time/date stamped.
